Why we quote flat instead of by the day. Daily-rate pricing sounds cheaper until your subcontractor doesn’t show, or it snows for three days, or the permit takes a week. Then you’re paying to have a bin sit there. We’d rather quote you one number for the job and let you work at whatever pace the project actually goes.
What Can Change Your Price
We tell you all of this before you book, not after we’ve hauled it:
Weight, on heavy material
Concrete, tile, dirt, brick, and roofing shingles are dense. A bin loaded with them can hit its weight limit at half full. If your project is heavy material, tell us upfront and we’ll quote it correctly.
Distance from Flagstaff
Deliveries out to Munds Park, Williams, Parks, or the Verde Valley may carry a mileage adjustment. It’s quoted upfront, not added later.
Restricted items
Appliances with refrigerant, tires, mattresses, and paint carry specific disposal costs. See what can and can’t go in.
Extended rental
Need it longer than the quoted period? Call before the pickup date and we’ll extend it at a set rate. Cheaper than a swap and there’s no penalty for asking.
Swaps and second hauls
Filled it and need another? You pay for the additional haul, not a whole new rental. Usually same or next day.
Overfilled loads
Debris has to sit level with the top rail so it can be legally and safely transported. If it’s heaped over, we’ll level it — but material we can’t take that trip comes off the load.
Dumpster vs. Full-Service Hauling: Which Is Actually Cheaper?
We do both, so we’ll give you the straight answer rather than steering you to whichever one pays us more.
Rent the dumpster when…
You have time and you have people. Multi-day projects, DIY demo, sorting through an estate at your own pace, or any job where you’re already on site working. You do the lifting, you pay less.
Hire the crew when…
It’s one heavy item, you’re on a deadline, the debris is on a second floor, or you physically can’t or shouldn’t be lifting it. See full-service junk removal.
Plenty of customers do both on the same project: a dumpster for the volume they can handle, and our crew for the heavy furniture, the appliances, and the final sweep. Ask and we’ll price it as one job.

Questions People Ask
How much does it cost to rent a dumpster in Flagstaff?
We quote a flat rate that includes delivery, the rental period, pickup, and standard disposal fees. The number depends on which of our two sizes you need and where you’re located. Call or send the quote form and you’ll have a firm price the same day — no walkthrough required.
How long can I keep the dumpster?
Your quoted flat rate covers a standard rental period. If your project runs long, call us before the scheduled pickup and we’ll extend it at a set rate. We’d much rather extend than have you rush a job or overfill the bin.
Are there hidden fees?
No. Everything that could affect your price — heavy material, mileage on distant deliveries, restricted items, extensions — gets disclosed when we quote you. The number of haulers who quote low and then add fuel surcharges and environmental fees at the end is exactly why we do it this way.
Do you charge by weight?
Our standard flat rate covers typical household and light construction debris. Heavy material like concrete, dirt, tile, brick, and roofing shingles is priced differently because disposal facilities charge us by the ton on those. Tell us what’s going in and we’ll quote it right the first time.
Do I pay upfront or after?
Call and we’ll walk you through it. We keep billing simple, and for contractors and property managers on standing accounts we invoice on terms rather than collecting per drop.
What if I need it for only one day?
That’s fine and it doesn’t change much. Our flat rate isn’t a daily meter, so a one-day job and a several-day job on the same size bin are priced the same. Use the time you need.
Is a dumpster cheaper than just having you haul it?
Usually yes, if you have the time and the labor to load it yourself. Full-service costs more because you’re paying for our crew’s hands. For a single couch or one appliance, full-service is almost always cheaper than renting a whole bin.
