Shed and Hot Tub Removal in Flagstaff and the Verde Valley
Sheds and hot tubs are the two items homeowners most often discover they cannot handle alone. Both are heavier than they look, both are fastened to something, and both have to come apart before they can leave the property. This is specialty work and we treat it that way.
Hot tub and spa removal
A spa shell is fiberglass over foam, and once the foam has absorbed water it can weigh several times what the dry unit did. That is why cutting it into manageable sections on site is usually safer and faster than trying to walk a whole shell through a gate. We drain the tub, disconnect it, break it down, and carry it out in pieces, then sort the shell, cabinet, framing, and equipment for recycling where the material allows.
Electrical disconnection
Most spas are hard-wired to a dedicated 240-volt circuit with a nearby disconnect box. We do not perform electrical work. Have a licensed electrician disconnect the unit and cap the circuit before the appointment, or let us know in advance so we can schedule around that step rather than arriving to a live connection.
Shed demolition and removal
Wood, metal, resin, and vinyl sheds all come down differently. We dismantle rather than simply collapse, which keeps damage to fencing, landscaping, and neighboring structures to a minimum, and separates reusable lumber and sheet metal from genuine waste. Anchors and slabs are handled case by case — tell us what the shed is sitting on and we will tell you what is realistic.
What we need to know before quoting
Access is the single biggest variable in this kind of job. The gate width, whether there are stairs or a slope, how far the item sits from where the truck can park, and whether anything overhead is in the way all change the labor involved. A few photos from different angles is normally enough for an accurate number without a site visit.
Related work
Sheds and spas often come down as part of a bigger clearance. If the yard, garage, or house also needs attention, see residential junk removal and estate and garage cleanouts. Deck boards, pavers, and concrete from the same project fall under construction debris removal.
